Thank You Cards

To all of the people that are just now receiving our thank you cards, you're probably thinking; “Wait, didn’t they get married over a year ago?” Why yes, yes we did!

I'm acting off the rule of "better late than never."

Okay, please understand that I had great and grand expectations to get the cards out much sooner than now. But believe me, we really are so grateful for all the support that we received on our wedding day.

I thought it would be appropriate to post an overview of our first year of marriage and some of the many things we experienced.

-       Right after getting married we moved to Provo, UT.

-       I did an internship with a local accounting firm.

-       Colt started his first company for a class at BYU and learned A TON!

-       We moved to Idaho so I could attend BYU-Idaho.

-       Colt landed an awesome internship with Eastern Idaho Entrepreneur Center while in Rexburg.

-       I graduated college! Wahoo!

-       We moved back to Provo.

-       I got my first career job at Fidelity Investments.

-       Colt changed his major to Computer Science.

-       I successfully passed the Series 7 and Series 63 exams which makes me a licensed broker.

-       I almost died from studying so much. I wish I was kidding.

-      In total we moved 5 times within 12 months! This should be illegal….

-       We finally have moved into an apartment that we LOVE. It even has a dishwasher, washer AND dryer. Yeah, I am pretty sure I started crying when we moved in because I was so happy.

Whew! All that in our first year of marriage? We are just happy we made it out alive. We made a lot of important life decisions and are excited for our future.

To say the least, the past year has been a whirlwind. So I was thinking we could make a deal? Lets just all pretend that I really sent out those thank your cards a year ago. Mmmkay?

Really, thank you for the support on our wedding day and we hope that 2013 finds you well.

 Love,

Kassi  & Colt

  1. I feel sort of like a creep. But since I know Colt, I don't feel like that big of a creep. Cute blog! Welcome to the blogosphere.
